Re: Page With new tile

Hi,

Yes I looked in the tutorials for passing querystring parameters to PHP but it's not working for us when using the multiplehomes plugin. We have it working fine in sub pages (without tiles) but can't figure out how to get it working in tile pages due to the way urls are constructed for them.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Page With new tile

If you'd pass something to the tiles page, where would you want to retreive the val? No new code is loaded when the tile page is loaded.

Re: Page With new tile

Hi Thomas,

We were thinking that if we could detect the page name we could change the title text for a tile group in tiles.php i.e. if $_GET['pagename'] = "brands" then the title text could be brands.

the site we are creating using the framework is going to be database driven but we need to have several tile pages throughout the site

Re: Page With new tile

Hi Thomas,
I'm sorry send you replay late, I was busy with some other projects.

After implementing the 'FakeTile' I'm getting the 'Home' and 'Countries' titles overlapped.
Please refer the screenshot below.
Could you please tell me how to fix it?

Re: Page With new tile

To do what you you don't need anything in this topic. You can use a sidebar but sidebars don't support to be put on the bottom of a page.

What kind of tiles do you want? If they are non-special, you could render them on the main page, get the HTML using Chrome and copy paste the HTML in the page tongue

Re: Page With new tile

Having trouble with this plugin. I have a homepage with tiles on, and then when a user logs into their user area I need a 'logged-in' homepage with another set of tiles. So thought this plugin would be perfect. But I have downloaded it, put it into the plugins folder and it just makes the tiles on my regular homepage disappear without even doing anything yet... any ideas? Thanks

Re: Page With new tile

I've tested it with the latest metro template and no problems. Don't forgot to add the classes to the tiles, to add tile different classes to the array in the file plugins/multiplehomes/desktop.js and comment out the lines in the js/functions.js file. Acces the differnt groups with the right url ( #?theclass )
