Multiple Themes

Hey,
is or will be there a feature which allows you to use multiple themes? For example if you click on a tile, the next side will show a tech theme, and if you go back, it will show the home screen with the standard theme again.
I appreciate your great help in this forum.

Re: Multiple Themes

Hi Thomas,

on the same topic:

i'd like to give the user the option of the theme to use, by selecting it via a jquery plugin (http://jqueryui.com/button/#radio). The selector should be in the header-part of the site all the time, labelled "Light" and "Dark" or something like that.

How would one do that?

Re: Multiple Themes

loading the right theme using PHP. Put the choice of the user in a cookie or so and check the cookie when the page is loaded to know which theme to load.

You can do this by implementing such radio buttons, and set a cookie using javascript when a radio button is clicked. Then, use javascript to reload the page. The PHP should load the right theme according to the cookie (don't forget to implement which theme should be loaded if no cookie exists).

And changing the theme for each page apart is impossible without much much coding. tongue

Re: Multiple Themes

Hi Thomas,

perhaps someday, when you have a little time to spare, you could be a bit more specific? big_smile
