Pattern as Background

Hey Guys, its me again smile

I´ve tried to put a pattern from Subtlepatterns as background, just to minimize the size of the background image.

My problem now is, that the image isnt repeated by css - it seems that the little image will be stretched over the whole background.

Look here: Klick

I think its because a min-height or/and min-width entry somewhere. Can somebody help me to fix that?

Thanks

Re: Pattern as Background

If you want a simple repeating image background, use the normal CSS way to apply a background. Don't use the templates thing.

Re: Pattern as Background

Ok, solution was quite easy - just inserted this code:

background-image: url(../../img/bg/bg.png);

in themes/theme_default/theme.css instead of the main background color

background-color:#DDD;

Seems to repeating the image by default and now i have a background image with 5kB *hellyeah*

Thanks a lot, cannot say it often enough:  this forum, this template, this people and Thomas himself rullleeeez

Re: Pattern as Background

Yep,

couldn't agree more big_smile

and sorry for not answering your last post... have missed it somehow...

FYI: background indeed repeats x and y by default, if not told otherwise
