Password protected Tiles

Hey,
is it possible (or could it become possible big_smile) to password-protect Tiles? For example:

This would be great if that could became possible!

Re: Password protected Tiles

Hi,

i would not do that on my site, since tiles are being displayed for all users.
It could be an inconvenience for some people, clicking on such a tile and then have to sign on.

I would prefer to think of a solution, where a tilegroup is only beeing displayed, if the user is logged in.

Just my opinion of course big_smile

If you agree, here is a good tutorial on how to do logins with ajax (posted by Thomas in another thread i believe): http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/web/l … index.html

Re: Password protected Tiles

Yes, but i use my website only for me and my friends. You can't even find it on the internet, except you are typing the adress in the adress bar. big_smile Can you maybe give me an example for a pw-protected tile (so when you click on a tile, a user & pw box is showed)? I'm not so experienced. That would be great big_smile

Re: Password protected Tiles

You'll need to create a login system and then check wether the user is logged in in the tiles.php and show tiles based on logged in/logged out.

Pie has made a tut for login system: http://www.netzwerkstudio.de/#!/tutorials
