password validation

Hi,

Has anyone used any sort of password validation  with this template? I have searched the forums and have not seen any postings but was still curious non-the-less.

What I am trying to achieve is for the  tiles.php  and main-nav.php and layout.php to add a new group upon successful log on.

Reaching out to the community for a little guidance.

Thanks

Re: password validation

No, not many requests for this... There was a success by Pie to use facebook "liked" as a protection for the post (see http://www.netzwerkstudio.de/#!/tutorials for example). If you want to make such a password validation plugin and release to the community, you can ask here any question during development. Though it would be recommended to have the hidden group last. An idea is to use javascript/JQuery to fade it back in upon successful login.

Good advice is often confusing, but example is always clear.

Re: password validation

Shouldn't be too difficult? Just implement a login system (lots of tutorials about that) and then check in the config/tiles.php file wether the user is logged in?
