Browser dimensions and positioning

Hi,

When someone with a 24" monitor opens a Metro-UI site full screen it centers the content. Which looks not so nice with the most left tile-panel in the center of the screen and a very wide left-margin. Changing "position" in #wrapper in main.css ruins the layout and changing other parts doesn't make it better. Being a novice on css, I'm confused... So how can I, when opening a browser, fix everything nice on the left, maintaining scrolling and so on.

Thanx,

Rob

Re: Browser dimensions and positioning

You could go to css\layout.css and change for #centerWrapper instead of margin:0 auto 15px auto; change it to margin:0 auto 15px 50px; .
Also change for #headerCenter instead of margin: 0 auto 7px auto; change it to margin: 0 auto 7px 55px;.

I'm not sure how this affects other functions of the website. I'd suggest you test with groups of different sizes to see how it looks (in default installation there could be a bug, even for default alignment, not aligning properly group3, please consider this when testing).

Good advice is often confusing, but example is always clear.

Re: Browser dimensions and positioning

Thanx Emil!

But, I put my question in the wrong section: should be version 3... Sorry!

Can you help me to solve the "problem" for version 3?

Thanx again,

Rob

Re: Browser dimensions and positioning

Just go to #header{} in main.css and use this for margin: 0 auto auto 55px;
For #contentWrapper{} in main.css and for left margin set 50px in same way
