How to change the URL?

Could not find where to change the url. That was not "http://www.site.com/#!/page", as "http://www.site.com/page"?

Re: How to change the URL?

It's impossible because this template uses #! symbols to proper website work (as far as I know).

But if you want have your address to open specific website, read about 'apache rewrite url' and do something with it. I haven't been trying to use it but in theory, at the end when everything is properly set if you write http://www.site.com/page url, you should be moved to http://www.site.com/#!/page url. But still #! signs must stay.

Re: How to change the URL?

About how SEO in this template works you can read code in inc/seo.php file.

When this template detects Google robot, SEO engine of template reads which page robot want to read, creates PHP code for this page and gives final code to Google robot. So, at least in theory, it should work as for normal HTML/PHP website with normal addresses.

Re: How to change the URL?

Normally, all pages are indexed normally if you define them in the config/pages.php

And what chrismaliszewki says is right.

Re: How to change the URL?

You can only make a mod_rewrite so that all the /page urls get redirected to /#!/page but you can't permanently make them show /page in the URL bar. I've tried to create an htaccess file but somehow my server's messing up.

Re: How to change the URL?

Suppose you want to change the url of your website you can change through html code in case if you want to change the url for some other blog post sites it depends on the site theme and options, so better tell us blog post link you want to change or website url want to change.

Re: How to change the URL?

make url readable not like *# this would be good for the website as per the user point of view.
