How to use "tileSlideshow"

I would like to use the "tileSlideshow" tile function, but there are two things that I do not see available:

1. a Pause/Play button to stop/start the slideshow function, and;
2. ability to have a different URL for each picture that is loaded.

Can this be done?  Is there already this ability, is it through another tile, or is this not done in a tile yet?

Re: How to use "tileSlideshow"

Also, I'm noticing that when I do activate a URL for the tile, even clicking on the arrows causes the link to activate.  Is there any way to fix this?

Re: How to use "tileSlideshow"

These questions were on the old forum so I'll copy paste them from my local database smile

switch(slide){
                case 0:
                $id.parent().attr("href", "you/new/link1.php");
                break;
                case 1:
                $id.parent().attr("href", "you/new/link2.php");
                break;
                case 2:
                $id.parent().attr("href", "you/new/link3.php");
                break;
            }

Be aware that this will work for all your tiles. If you don't want that, add a class to the tile (last argument of the function) and put the code above between

if($id.parent().hasClass("THE_CLASS_YOU_GAVE_IT"){
// code above here
}

A last question Thomas.

With your modification, a click everywhere on the tile goes to the link.
So, if you click on the arrow on left and right, it's not possible to slide to an other image.
Have you got any solution to fix this ?

Try opening the plugin.js file of the slideshowtile, and find the function for the click on the tile. (I think it's on the bottom, something like $(document).on("click" blabla. and add this code inside it:

return false();
